Economic Trends: The Appreciation of the Slovene Tolar Continues

Economic developments in the first quarter of 1998 have been stable but projections for the next quarter are not so bright, April's issue of Economic Trends, published by the Economics Institute at the Ljubljana Faculty of Law, said. While the appreciation of the Slovene tolar continues, trends on the foreign currency market reveal that the period of the nominal appreciation has been ending.
