Last weekend Slovenia welcomed Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien for a brief official visit. After meeting his host and counterpart Janez Drnovšek, Chretien said the talks were of high quality. Much attention was given to the situation in Kosovo and Bosnia, Chretien's next stop after Slovenia.
