Austrians Win Rally Saturnus

Raphael Sperer with co-driver C. Hoerner (Renault Megane, 2:50,34) won the 21st Rally Saturnus that started Friday in Idrija and ended in Ajdovščina, western Slovenia, on Saturday. Markus Mitterbauer with co-driver Detlef Rufo (Toyota Celica, 2:53,21) came second and Villi Stengg and Otto Schoenlechner (ford ecsord, 2:53,30) third. Highest-placed Slovenes Tomaž Jemc and Matjaž Korošak (Ford Escort 2:59,32) came fifth, while Vojko Podobnik and Matjaž Praznik (Mitsubishi Lancer, 3:00,22) came sixth.
