Govt adopts pension reform, retirement age to increase by two years

Ljubljana, 8 May - The government on Thursday approved a pension reform bill under which the retirement age, currently 60 for those with 40 years of service and 65 for others, will gradually increase from 2028. By 2035, the standard retirement age will reach 67, though individuals with 40 years of pensionable service will be able to retire at 62.
