Slovenia's Foreign Exchange Reserves Amount to US$ 4.2 Billion

Ljubljana, 27 May - SLOVENIA/FOREIGN/EXCHANGE/RESERVES
Slovenia's foreign exchange reserves amounted to US$ 4.236 billion at the end of March 1998. Foreign exchange reserves of the central bank allowed for US$ 3.269 billion and those of commercial banks US$ 967 million. Slovenia's foreign debt totalled US$ 4.25 billion, exceeding the reserves by US$ 14 million.
