Doing Business with FRY - Politics Hindering Economy

Statistics record a strong upward trend in trade exchange between Slovenia and FR Yugoslavia in spite of numerous obstacles. Bilateral trade was last year at US$ 154 million, up 21 percent from the year before, but still far below the 1990 level of about US$ 5 billion. Slovenia has a massive surplus in its trade with Yugoslavia.
