Prime Minister Drnovšek Begins His Visit in Australia

Canberra, 4 June - DRNOVŠEK/AUSTRALIA
Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek, on several days' visit in Australia, on Thursday with his Australian counterpart John Howard and Deputy Prime Minister Tim Fisher, who is also minister of trade, and Governor General Sir William Dean. In the evening Prime Minister Drnovšek will attend a dinner given by Australian Foreign Minister Alexander Downer. The talks centered on bilateral cooperation, especially in economic field, and exchange of views on international issues, the STA has learnt from sources in the Slovene delegation. This includes also Vojka Ravbar, state secretary in the Ministry of Economic Relations and Development.
