Government Decides for More Slovene Soldiers in UNFICYP Peace-keeping Mission; Slovenia Might Participate in Joint Forge Operation

Ljubljana, 4 June - The Slovene government decided Thursday to increase in October the number of Slovene troopers participating in the UNFICYP peace-keeping mission in Cyprus. Another decision reached today was that a military police platoon would participate in the peace-keeping operation named Joint Forge, which nevertheless should be first approved by the National Assembly.
