Ombudsman Bizjak Talks about Human Rights in 1997

Slovenia's Ombudsman Ivan Bizjak spoke at a news conference on Monday about an annual report on the state of human right in Slovenia in 1997. The report was submitted to Speaker of Parliament Janez Podobnik at the end of last week. The respect of basic human rights and freedoms is satisfactory in Slovenia, according to the report, although some violations and denials still happen.
