Slovenia's Premier Janez Drnovsek completed his tour of Australia and New Zealand and Speaker of Parliament Janez Podobnik visited Estonia and continued his diplomatic activities in Stockholm, where he participated in a conference of European parliaments speakers in the past week. A parliamentary international relations committee delegation headed by its Chairman Jelko Kacin paid a visit to Romania. Foreign Minister Boris Frlec participated in a summit of Central European Initiative (CEI) foreign ministers on the Croatian islands of Brioni, Defence Minister Alojz Krapez attended a Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council meeting in Brussels and Interior Minister Mirko Bandelj addressed a special meeting of the U.N. Security Council, held in New York, on the world drug problem.
