Government Ready to Listen to Justified Demands of Truck Driveres

Ljubljana, 18 June - GOVERNMENT/TRUCK/DRIVERS
The demands made by truck drivers have been met to such an extent that a protest scheduled for Monday should not be necessary, Janko Steharnik, the chief negotiator for the government, told a news conference on Thursday after a regular government session. Steharnik added that the government would only accept the demands its considered justified. At today's session, the government pointed out it was ready to negotiate and do its best to prevent the protest from taking place.
