Head of Allied Forces Mission in Styria Talks about his Memories of WW II

Ljubljana, 27 June - ALLIED/FORCES/MEMOIRS
U.S. Lieutenant Colonel Franklin Lindsay, who headed the military mission of the allied forces in the Slovene region of Styria during WWII for seven months, presented his memoirs entitled 'Beacons in the Night' and the Slovene translation of the book late on Friday evening. Lindsay used in his memoirs a wide range of documents from that period and combined them with his own memories of the time during the Second World War he spent in Slovenia, Croatia and at Marshal Tito's headquarters.*
