Pharmaceutical Company Lek Opens New Facility
Ljubljana/Lendava, 3 July - COMPANIES/PHARMACEUTICS/LEK
Lek, one of two Slovene pharmaceuticals manufacturers, opened a new facility for the production of antibiotics in Lendava (northeast) on Friday. The investment amounted to SIT 600 million (US$ 3.5 million) and it will enable more economical production of Clavulanic Acid. The technology has basically remained the same, but it gives better utilization results, better quality of Clavulanic Acid and is more environment-friendly, Lek reported in Ljubljana.
