Slovenia's Foreign Exchange Reserves Amount to US$ 4.31 Billion

Slovenia's foreign exchange reserves amounted to US$ 4.31 billion in end-April, a rise of US$ 77.5 million, or 1.8 percent over March. Foreign exchange reserves of the central bank allowed for US$ 3.3 billion (77 percent) and those of commercial banks US$ 981 million. Foreign currency reserves increased by US$ 55 million in end-April over the beginning of 1998, when they reached US$ 4.26 billion.
