Pilot Trade Union Rejects Calling Off Strike
Ljubljana, 16 July - ADRIA/AIRWAYS/STRIKE
Pilots at the national carrier Adria Airways are not willing to call off the strike scheduled for 20 July although a partial agreement has been achieved at Wednesday's negotiations between Adria Airways management, and the Transport Workers of Slovenia Trade Union strike committee and a representative of the umbrella trade union Neodvisnost KNSS for the Gorenjsko region. The trade union demands immediate signing of a special tariff rider to the collective agreement that would set pilot wages and working conditions separately from other Adria employees.
