Ljubljana, 25 July - The government last week introduced a number of measures concerning health care and social security, while the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs announced it would discuss the new law on pensions and disability insurance in the near future. The National Assembly amended the local government legislation, setting up 45 new municipalities to reorganize the municipality network before the autumn local elections. The National Council passed a motion for constitutional assessment for the recently introduced police act, under which the police should have had a new leadership appointed, but the announcement was not yet carried out.
