Slovenia Started Reducing Power Supply from the N-Plant to Croatia
Ljubljana, 30 July - SLOVENIA/CROATIA/N-PLANT/KRSKO
The Slovene electricity provider Elektro Slovenije (Eles) has gradually started reducing the power supply from the Nuclear Power Plant Krsko to Croatia. Unless Croatia reduces the power consumption from the plant, electric mains towards Croatia will gradually get disconnected. Slovenia expressed hope the main Croatian power provider (HEP) would sensibly respond to the situation, so that the disconnection would not take place. The Ministry of Economic Activities stressed HEP had not responded to the Slovene decision yet.
