Slovenia carried out its threat last week and stopped supplying Croatia with electricity from the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant after Croatia failed to pay back its debts. Croatia responded by protesting on the manner of solving disputed bilateral issues. The dispute thus disrupted the calm before the holiday in the last week of July.
