Slovene and Croatian Police Discover Drug Smugglers
Zagreb, 5 August - Slovene and Croatian crime investigators discovered an organised group of drug smugglers. In a joint action, Slovene and Croatian policemen seized 38 kilos of heroin (70-percent purity), at a black market value of more than DM 6 million. Marjan Pogacnik, Head of the Crime Investigation Department of the Slovene Interior Ministry, and his Croatian counterpart Zeljko Sacic presented the joint action at a news conference in Zagreb on Wednesday.
