Meeting of Slovenia, Croatia over Krsko N-Plant Remains Uncertain
Ljubljana, 6 August - The Croatian side has not yet official replied to a proposal from Slovenia's Economics Ministry for an official ministerial-level meeting on Thursday over current affairs regarding the Krsko nuclear power plant (NEK). The Croatian national electricity provider HEP this morning also did not remit new funds to NEK, so its debt to NEK remained unchanged at about SIT 2.3 billion (about US$ 13.7 million), or over SIT 3 billion (about US$ 17.8 million) with unpaid decommission payments included.
