Slovenia assumed the presidency over the UN Security Council on 1 August, which will keep the nation and its Ambassador to the UN Danilo Tuerk pretty busy in August. At the Charles University in Prague, Slovenia's Premier Janez Drnovsek addressed students of the American Institute on Political and Economic Systems. He spoke about Slovenia's achievements since 1991 and the tasks this Central European country is facing.
