Weekly Review of Slovene Economy from 2 through 8 August

Ljubljana, 9 August - The meeting of the representatives of the ministries of economy of Slovenia and Croatia, which was to take place on Thursday, was cancelled by Croatia. At the meeting the issues concerning the Krsko N-plant should have been discussed. Croatian Minister Nenad Porges said he could not negotiate with Slovenia as long as the Croatian government has not examined the Slovene decision to transform the plant into a public enterprise. Zagreb is to discuss the issue this week, while the ministers are to meet at the end of the week.
