Slovene Authorities Accord House Numbers to Hamlets on Slovene-Croatian Border
Ljubljana, 13 August - Slovenia's National Cadastre Office has recently accorded five house numbers in the hamlets of Mlini, Buzini and Skudelini on Slovene-Croatian border. The decision was met by a negative response by Croatian media and local authorities, which claim that the three above hamlets are situated on the Croatian territory. According to Franco Juri, Slovenia's State Secretary to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the house numbers were accorded following requests made by five individuals. The procedure was in line with regulation adopted in January 1998, Juri said Thursday in Ljubljana.
