Sommaruga: ICRC Appreciates Slovenia's Humanitarian Efforts

President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Cornelio Sommaruga praised Monday Slovenia's contribution to the international community's humanitarian action, and thanked the nation, which is currently presiding over the UN Security Council, for the aid the Red Cross of Slovenia collected for Kosovo refugees who fled to Albania. Sommaruga, who started a two-day visit to Ljubljana Monday, met with his host, Foreign Minister Boris Frlec, Premier Janez Drnovsek and President of Slovenia Milan Kucan.
