Weekly review of Slovene foreign affairas from August 22 to 28

Efforts to resolve outstanding bilateral issues between Slovenia and Croatia this week reached the ministerial level. In a meeting of foreign and economics ministers at the Mokrice castle, Slovenia's Foreign Minister Boris Frlec and his Croatian counterpart Mate Granic agreed the countries would draft solutions in cooperation with foreign experts until October when the mixed diplomatic commissions is to convene at a meeting. Minister Granič stressed there were only a few unsolved issues left, adding the possibility of international arbitration was not at all mentioned at the Mokrice talks.
