Nedelo: Almost 50 Percent of Slovenes Had No Holiday This Year

The majority of Slovenes spent their holiday in the neighbouring Croatia this year. According to the results of the survey published in today's Nedelo, 29.1 percent of Slovenes spent the summer in Istria or elsewhere in Croatia, which is by 0.2 percent more than in 1997. However, as many as 48.8 percent of those who took part in the survey told they had had no holiday this year.
