Dragonja Says Closure of Nafta Lendava was not Discussed in July
Ljubljana, 3 September - GOVERNMENT/NAFTA/LENDAVA
The government did not took a decision in July on whether to close Nafta Lendava, the only Slovene refinery, co-owned by the government and oil company Petrol, Economics Minister Metod Dragonja told a news conference after a government session Thursday. Such a decision, that would certainly require large-scale investments, should be based on business and long-term strategic parameters. Minister Dragonja added the government had only drawn some framework guidelines that might help solve Nafta Lendava-related issues.
