EU Statistics Legislation Should be Easy to Adopt

Ljubljana, 3 September - The European Commission has estimated that Slovenia should face no major difficulties in the adoption of EU legislation regulating statistics as Slovenia's statistics legislation has been harmonized with EU provisions to a large extent. Assistant Director of the Slovene Statistical Office Irena Krizman told a news conference Thursday Slovenia would make an effort to fully adjust its legislation by the end of 2002.
