Delo: Union of Italians is no "Bogeyman"

Ljubljana, 4 September - It took seven years for members of the Italian ethnic minority to register the Union of Italians (L'Unione Italiana) in Slovenia. But even a few years ago there were some doubts about the Union in Slovenia, and very likely quite justifiably; many of the stances of this organization, seated in the Croatian town of Rijeka, have revealed its unfavourable disposition towards the Slovene state. In addition to that the Union used to spread lies about Slovenia not taking good care of the ethnic minorities in Slovenia, Delo says on Friday.
