Nuclear Experts Meet in Terme Catez

A regular annual international expert meeting of the Nuclear Expert Society of Slovenia (DJSS) began in the Terme Catez health resort on Tuesday. The three-day meeting on 'Nuclear Energy in Central Europe' is to feature presentations of the latest achievements in the field of nuclear safety, papers on operational problems of research reactors and nuclear power plants as well as disposal of nuclear waste. The participants will talk about the progress in the technical reconstruction of the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant. For the first time this year several papers will focus on the use of nuclear methods in medicine, technics and industry.
