TVS: Banič - "I'm afraid some one has mixed it all up"

Ljubljana, 11 September - TV/SLOVENIA/BANIC/INTERVIEW
"I'm afraid some one has mixed it all up," director of Slovenia's power supply company ELES, Ivo Banic said in an interview for the TV Slovenia late night news on Thursday evening commenting recent statements about the Krsko nuclear power plant (NEK) by his Croatian counterpart, director of HEP Damir Begovic. According to Banic, the 1995 contract mentioned by Begovic states only that in case Krsko supplies power to HEP, ELES is obliged to transfer it through its mains. "This power is the property of NEK and not of ELES or HEP," Banic said adding "you just have to pay for the electricity to become its owner".
