50 Years of Nova Gorica

Nova Gorica, 12 September - NOVA/GORICA/ANNIVERSARY
Central ceremony was held on Saturday on the occasion of 50th anniversary of the town of Nova Gorica, which was build by volunteer work brigades after World War II in western Slovenia near teh border with Italy. The ceremony was accompanied by a pan-Slovenian meeting of members of work brigades. Slovenia's President Milan Kucan delivered a speech on the occasion.
