Slovenia to Host Conference on the EU and Economic Trans-Frontier Cooperation

Ljubljana, 13 September - The European Commission and the Institute of European Studies at the University in Louvain (Belgium) are organizing a conference on 'the EU and Regional Economic Trans-Frontier Cooperation' to be held in Portoroz (northwest) on 18 and 19 September and focusing on the north Adriatic ports of Trieste, Koper and Rijeka. The meeting is being organized in cooperation with the Italian chambers' association Unioncamere, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS) and its Croatian counterpart as well as some other Slovene and Croatian institutions, the CCIS said.
