Vecer on the Election in Bosnia

Maribor, 15 September - A good turnout, between 70 and 80 percent, is the only thing the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), which organized and funded this year's parliamentary election in Bosnia-Herzegovina, can boast of. All other predictions of the OSCE officials, who have not got used to the Balkans yet, have obviously turned to dust; despite lengthy preparations the organization was a catastrophe, despite hard international pressure the largest share of the parliamentary pie was evidently again won by the parties that have build their image on almost exclusively nationalistic programmes, the Maribor daily writes in Tuesday issues.
