Prime Minister Drnovsek Leaves for His First Official Visit to Turkey
Ljubljana, 15 September - Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek left the Ljubljana airport of Brnik on Tuesday morning for a two-day official visit to Turkey. It is the first official visit by a Slovene premier in the country. Drnovsek is scheduled to meet his host and counterpart, Mesut Yilmaz, on Tuesday, when both countries are expected to sign a protocol on cooperation between their foreign ministries. The head of Slovenia's government is to meet Turkish Parliament Speaker Hikmet Cetin on Wednesday.
