Central Bank's Intervention on Foreign Money Markets Ends
Ljubljana, 21 September - BANK/FOREIGN/EXCHANGE/INTERVENTION
Following Monday's resolution of the governor of the Bank of Slovenia and in agreement with the 5th item of the bid for intervention on foreign money markets by means of intervention buying rate dating from 10 September, Slovenia's central bank announced the period of intervention ended on Monday. The banks involved are not obliged to sustain the intervention buying rate as of Tuesday, 22 September, the Bank of Slovenia said.
