Meeting on Trade Unions Freedom and Right of Strike
Ljubljana, 21 October - TRADE/UNIONS/STRIKE/MEETING
As present Slovenian legislation encompasses detailed laws restricting the right to strike, the extraordinary session of the National Assembly and the adoption of four new laws were completely unnecessary. This is just one of the statements, made at Thursday's meeting of the Trade Union of State and Social Bodies of the Republic of Slovenia. The meeting was held following the adoption of new laws, which limit the striking rights of policemen, air traffic controllers, customs officers and authorised officials in penal-correctional institutes.
