Officials of Council of Europe Discuss Development of Rural Regions in Europe

Ljubljana, 24 September - COE/SEMINAR/RURAL/REGIONS
State Secretary for physical planning in the Slovene Ministry of Environment Dusan Blaganje opened a two-day seminar entitled Prospects and Development of Rural Regions in Europe, which is part of preparations for the next European conference of ministers of regional planning (CEMAT), which will be held in Hannover, Germany, in the year 2000. The seminar has been organized by the Council of Europe (CoE) and the Slovene Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture. Some 110 experts in physical planning and rural areas development are attending.
