Slovenia Attends Multilateral Screening for Custums Union

Slovenia's adjustment to EU rules for the customs union will require a lot of work to build up staff and appropriate institutions, primarily the customs service, Vojka Ravbar, state secretary in the Ministry of Economic Relations and Development, who headed the Slovene delegation at the two-day multilateral screening, said after the screening session on Thursday. She added an important task will be to adjust customs tariffs, which Slovenia plans to carry out gradually until its accession to the Union.
