Frlec: Economic Progress Vital for Peace in Africa

Slovenia's Foreign Minister Boris Frlec attended Thursday the UN Security Council session on Africa. Before the meeting, Frlec also met with his Ethiopian counterpart, Seyoum Mesfin who asked Slovenia for support in Ethiopia's conflicts with Eritrea, Somalia and Sudan. The Ethiopian minister expressed the desire for speedy resolution of conflicts in accordance with general civilizational norms and without shifting borders between the African nations although they had been established in colonial times without taking into account actual ethnic boundaries.
