CEEC Agriculture Ministers to Meet at Bled
Ljubljana, 28 September - AGRICULTURE/MINISTERS/BLED
The fifth meeting of agriculture ministers from Central and Eastern European countries will start Tuesday at Bled, northwestern Slovenia. The main theme of the two-day meeting, to be attended by agriculture ministers and their deputies from 16 countries, representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) regional office in Budapest, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), is the influence of Agenda 2000 to agricultural markets in Central and Eastern Europe. The participants will be addressed by Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food of Slovenia, Ciril Smrkolj, and Vice-Premier Marjan Podobnik.
