European Commission's Report Comes as no Surprise

Slovene Minister for European Affairs Igor Bavcar assessed Thursday that the critical report by the European Commission on Slovenia's progress in adopting EU standards came as "no surprise". The minister believes the report is "realistic" and understands it as a warning to EU candidates that all branches of power should be active in order to fulfill the EU criteria, the Government Office for European Affairs said in a press release.
