Bavcar: The Delay Can Be Made Up For In A Year
Ljubljana, 5 November - The government discussed Thursday the annual report issued Wednesday by the European Commission on the progress Slovenia has made in adopting the acquis. The report says that in the past year Slovenia has failed to make any progress in bringing its legislation into line with the EU regulations. But Minister for European Affairs Igor Bavcar said after the session that the delay can be made up for in a year's time. The EU will make another assessment of EU candidate's progress in twelve months' time.
