Municipal Councils Election: LDS Leads, Followed by SDS

Ljubljana, 22 November - According to the unofficial data released by the national electoral commission, the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS) leads in elections of municipal councils in Ljubljana with 30.1 percent of the ballots cast, followed by the Social Democrats (SDS) with 20.1 percent, the United List of Social Democrats (ZLSD) with 15.8 percent, Christian Democrats (SKD) with 8.7 percent, the Democratic Party of Pensioners (DeSUS) with 4.3 percent, the Slovene People's Party (SLS) with 3.5 percent, the Democratic Party (DS) with 2.9 percent and the Slovene National Party (SNS) with 2.8 percent.
