Ljubljana, 23 November - The excellent organizers of the Central European Initiative (CEI) summit were among the first to notice the leading and the second group of candidates for membership in the European Union were getting interested in the CEI again after Brussels' reserve towards them. Slovenia's government delegation in particular advocated the CEI should be qualified to pass maturity exams under the strict requirements of the Union. This gave a more substantial support to the efforts of Austria and Italy to humble a little especially those EU members which look on to the colourful group of 16 countries as the undesired, Delo writes in Monday issues.
