Reform of Slovene Agricultural Policy Central Topic of Meeting in Bled
Bled, 23 November - AGRICULTURE/COUNSELLING
Approximately 300 agricultural counsellors from Slovenia as well as experts from Austria and Denmark gathered in Bled (north) on Monday to participate in the two-day 13th meeting of the Slovene service for counselling in agriculture. The central topic of the meeting is the implementation of the two basic pillars of the reform of Slovenia's agricultural policy 1999-2002: the introduction of direct payments per hectare and restructuring of agriculture. The meeting was organized by the department for promotion of agriculture at Slovenia's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food.
