Slovene Government Adopts Six Position Papers and a Bill on Asylum

Ljubljana, 26 November - The Slovene government on Thursday's session adopted a bill on asylum which regulates the conditions and procedures to grant the asylum, the cessation of the asylum as well as the status, rights and obligation of refugees in Slovenia. The Slovene government also adopted position papers for six groups, to be delivered to the European Commission in December: for commercial law, fisheries, statistics, consumer and health protection, customs union and foreign economic relations as well as international development aid.
