jubljana, October 29 (STA) - The Slovenian Christian Democrates (SKD) are in favour of extending the mandates of the current municipal assemblies, but only till the end of 1994, said SKD Deputy Jana Primožič at Friday's regular weekly press conference of the party. ***

Ljubljana, 29 October - SKD FOR EXTENDING MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY MANDATES TILL END OF 1994=
        The SKD is preparing for a number of events, the most important being the session of the party's council, which is to take place on November 9, two debates behind closed doors on the budget memorandum and local administration scheduled to take place in seven and fourteen days respectively, the economic forum taking place next week in Portorož and the regular annual assembly, which is to commence on the fifth anniversary of the founding of the party in March next year.
