The Slovene Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) has not manage to get any official explanation about a special transit duty on Slovene goods supposedly paid on entrance or departure from Yugoslavia. Unofficial sources in Belgrade say the duty is paid only by vehicles carrying alcohol or cigarettes, amounting to 6,000 German marks for small trucks and 10,000 marks for long vehicles.
