Government Decides to Relax Some Prices

Ljubljana, 3 December - Perusing a goal of reducing inflation gradually, the government expects the 1998 inflation to fall to 8 percent, Minister of Economic Relations Marjan Senjur told a news conference after a government session. He said that consumer prices increased in the January-to-November period by 5.8 percent from December 1997. They are not expected to rose by over 6.5 percent until the end of the year.
